Childbirth Class Begins!

We started our childbirth class last night! It is a bit early for us to take the class, but because of our vacations planned over Christmas & New Year's it seemed wise to take a class early rather than risk it being too close to the arrival of our baby!

We are one of 5 couples in the class. The rest of the class is due in January, but they made us feel welcome. The teacher seems very knowledgeable and up on current research and trends in birthing. I think it will be just what we need to prep us for the arrival of our son! In a few weeks we'll get to take a tour of the hospital and she promised to make sure we know exactly where to park and go. That will make me feel better! =)

Jason got to see his first video birth and he did well! =) I think the class will help us both feel more prepared.

Next week I'll have to go alone because Jason is heading to London for a linguistics conference next Wednesday - Sunday. Stay tuned for more class updates =)
