Hudson had his 2 month appointment earlier this week. He is a growing boy! Remember at 2 weeks that he was 9 lbs 8oz?? Well now at 2 months he is 13lbs 13oz!! He is now 24.75 inches long. That puts him at about 97th percentile for length and about 90th percentile for weight. The doctors are very pleased with his progress! They told us to keep up the good work. =) Hudson did get 4 vaccines at his visit which wasn't his favorite, but with a little help from Tylenol he came through it fine.
Hudson continues to become more and more attentive as the days pass. He is looking more into our eyes instead of just looking over the tops of our heads. He is smiling more, but most often still for Daddy! ;-) He is grabbing onto things--mostly accidentally--but getting better at it. When he is happy and laying on the ground he just kicks his feet and moves his arms all around. He is very active. He is also daily working on getting his fist/thumb/fingers into his mouth. He hasn't mastered it yet, but he's working on it! He has also discovered that he can stick out his tongue, and loves to do that now too!
Here is his 9 week photo:

Hey Kim, FYI... I just heard that the baby Tylenol was voluntarily recalled. I heard the generic Target brand was not though. Thought you might want to know, if you have not already heard. I think you can google it & look it up online. Sarah Almetus :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah--I had heard about it. The doctor's office gave us a generic brand that is not made by the same company! I was thankful for that. Thanks for keeping up with this!
ReplyDeleteHe's a cutie! And the same size as Elijah who is 2 months older! He just may surpass him :). Can't wait to see Hudson in person - when do you guys think you'll be in rochester next?
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! Hudson is a big boy =) We are coming to Rochester for a few days in the beginning of June, and will also be back for Matt Sones wedding on the 18th and stay for a few days. Hope we can connect while we are there and we need to meet Elijah!
