Here's a few quick updates:
- Jason had a wonderful time at his conference in London. He enjoyed meeting some of the big names in the field and learning more about what to expect as a field work linguistics. He also enjoyed spending time with some friends from his South Africa days.
- We had a wonderful time visiting Jason's family over Thanksgiving. It was a quick and busy trip, but so fun to spend time with everyone. We also enjoyed going to our friend Rachelle's wedding, and also attending Jason's family friend Jenna's wedding. We look forward to spending more time with his family at the beginning of the new year.
- I finished my long term sub job in 7th grade yesterday. The kids were so cute and were sad to have me leave. I really enjoyed my time with them, but am also excited about the flexibility my new schedule will provide. I got all the paper work and fingerprinting done today to be signed up with another subbing agency in the area, and hope to be subbing at least several days a week in local schools.
- Jason is working hard to finish up his first semester at Yale. He has a few more homework assignments and then final papers and exams. He will be very busy over the next few weeks, but is very excited to have the end in sight.
- We are both going to be singing in our church's Christmas program next weekend, and are looking forward to my parents coming to see us!
- We've been to four of our five birthing classes and are feeling more prepared for the arrival of our little boy!
