New Haven: New Home: Weekly Photos for the Twins

This is a quick overview of the twins growth over the past few months! They have gone from tiny (seemed really tiny after Hudson) newborns who struggled to gain weight to healthy, hungry babies who are smiling and interacting. Parker seems to be quick to smile and has a more laid back personality--although he certainly has some lungs and will let you know if he's upset. Olivia is more sparing with her smiles, but when you get one it is wonderful. She is a talker and likes to try to communicate with us and her brothers.

Both babies have been pretty fussy, although that seems to be changing in the last week or so. They are both on Zantac to help their acid reflux symptoms and continue Hudson's tradition of spitting up a LOT! We do at least 1 load of baby wash every day just to keep up with their clothes and to make sure we have enough burp cloths! =) We also do our laundry frequently to keep our clothes clean from spit up! So if you are planning on visiting us, make sure to pack extra clothes to change into! =)

The babies are starting to get a bit more predictable with their sleeping and napping schedule, and for that I am very thankful. I could not make it through the week without the regular help I get from Sarah, Julia, Sharon, Kristen, & Linda--not to mention many others! I am blessed to have so many ladies who care so much for me and my children.

I hope to be able to write more about how Hudson has adjusted to his siblings in a future post, but briefly he has done pretty well with the transition. It was rough at first, but he is really loving his brother and sister and loves to see them smile and interact with him now. I have to make sure he doesn't love them too hard, but generally he is pretty good with them. He likes to have them "watch" him do his puzzles, build blocks and watch his construction videos with him.

Life is busy and we don't get near as much sleep as we used to, but we love our children! They are truly a blessing from the Lord.
