Baby Showers!

One big highlight of both of our visits this holiday season were that we had a baby shower both in Rochester and in Pennsylvania!

The one in Rochester was coordinated and arranged by my mom, sisters and good friend Kim. They did a beautiful job transforming my parents house into a baby shower with adorable decorations. They had asked people to bring a book instead of cards, so we really got a lot of books! Jason and I are thrilled that our son has quite the book collection already! We also got many wonderful gifts, and I enjoyed spending time with many ladies from our church in Rochester. Thanks for a WONDERFUL shower! Here are some picture highlights:

My mom makes these little "taggie" blankets for babies and now for her grandson!

My sister Ellen gave us (well really Jason) a picture dictionary for him to read to the baby! We LOVE it!

After we arrived in PA, it was a wonderful surprise to find out that my sister-in-law Heidi had been masterminding a shower for us in Pennsylvania. Despite the fact that I "accidentally" found out about it the day before, it was a wonderful time! They did a beautiful job of transforming one of the classrooms at the church into a lovely place to have a shower. They used a Winnie the Pooh theme to decorate the room. They did a beautiful job, and it was so nice that Aunt Natalie, Kelsey and Joy could come up from Maryland for the shower.

Grandma shared some words of wisdom and prayed for me.

An adorable balloon we had at both of the showers! Thank you all for such wonderful memories and for showering Jason, the baby, and me with such wonderful gifts!
