We were thankful that the twins are looking healthy! The measurements for both babies were about a week ahead of schedule, but that isn't much a surprise given how big Hudson was. They also felt it would be good that they are on the bigger side. The anatomy they checked all looked good and both babies seem to be very healthy. We thank God for that answer to prayer.
After the first baby was checked for all the measurements, we were able to find out that it was a boy! We were thrilled. I had suspected given all the movement. We even saw him punching and kicking the other baby! Definitely all boy already. Then the technician moved on to the second baby and was able to see that it is a girl! So we are having a boy and a girl. This definitely confirms them as fraternal twins. We are thrilled.
The boy is on my left side and is currently breech, but has plenty of time to turn around. At this time they believe he would be the first one to be born, but that could change as time goes on. The girl is head down at this point. So they are in perfect position to kick at each others heads! =) We saw the girl give a good kick towards her brother as he kept trying to be in her pictures. It was fun to see the interaction between them already.
They will monitor the growth of the babies every month as well as check to make sure there are no signs of preterm labor. I feel confident that I am in excellent hands, and we will trust God for whatever he has planned for these babies.
Here are a few pictures they took of the babies.

| Another shot of the girl -- her hand is up by her face, which is in the center, looking right at you! |
