July back in CT

Even though it was the middle of July when we got back from our long trip, we still had lots of fun events!

Good friends from Rochester were at their family cottage in Chesire, CT. We had a great time with them and Jason & Hudson enjoyed swimming in the lake.

Hudson has a huge fascination with the fans! Unlike ceiling fans ("ffff") he calls fans like this "veee" and loves to stand in front of it and feel the air.

Reading our story before bedtime. Hudson has taken to really "flirting" with me as Daddy reads.

Hudson got to ride a school bus! He was THRILLED! Jason and Hudson joined me as I helped to chaperone a youth group event for our church. We rode the bus downtown to the green.

Hudson was thrilled that his friend Pearl also joined us.

At the event downtown Hudson got to give Elmo a fist bump!

To cap off the day, Hudson rode home on the city bus (Daddy's bus) with Jason. I was told he was very excited!

Hudson now runs around our house! He is a VERY busy boy--always into something.

Still as cute and handsome as ever!

Hudson has become quite proficient at the shape sorter--even when wearing Daddy's belt! ;-)

Hudson's friend Pearl got a new baby sister at the end of the month! We are thrilled with her family as they hope to adopt Violet. Pearl is a great "big sister" already! Hudson calls the baby "Avie"--good practice for him to see a little baby.
