Welcoming Our First Visitors

Other than my family helping us move in, our first overnight visitors arrived yesterday! We were thrilled that Jason's grandparents wanted to stop by and see us in our new home. They arrived on Friday and took us out to dinner. Jason had wanted to try a Malaysian restaurant near our house that had been recommended to him. So we headed to Kari here in Westville. It was delicious! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful food. Jason tried one of their specialties which was Mango Chicken which was served in hollowed out mango halves and arranged beautifully.

We took Grandma & Grandpa Eaton on a quick driving tour of Yale and Jason pointed out various things along the way. We had a wonderful evening talking with them and catching them up on what has been happening here in New Haven.

This morning we had a nice breakfast with them before they had to head off on the next leg of their trip.
